New Work Permit To Be Offered To More International Students In A Move To keep Them In Canada.
The Canadian government through the minister of immigration Marco Mendicino has made it known of their intentions to retain more international students in the country by offering them a new work permit which could lead to permanent residency.
According to CP24, the immigration minister says “former students who hold post-graduation work permits that have expired or will soon expire can now apply for open work permits.”
“this will allow affected students 18 more months to remain in Canada to try to find jobs.”
